The primary goal of distance education is
to offer available, accessible, and affordable courses for
transfer and career programs.
What is
Distance Education?
Distance education is a formal educational
process in which the majority of instruction and interaction in
a course occurs when students and instructors are not in the
same place. At present the majority of distance education
courses at NACC are online courses.
Distance education courses at NACC are of the
same quality and rigor as traditional courses. Distance
education courses require 6-9 hours of study per week per
course. If you are self-motivated, self-disciplined, communicate
well through writing, and feel that quality learning can take
place outside the traditional classroom, then
NACC Distance Education may be your best avenue for a better
future.
