Public Health Lecture on Alacare January 18

Alacare will be the topic of a public health lecture at Northeast Alabama Community College on Wednesday, January 18, at 12:00 noon in Health Education Building Room 106 on the NACC campus. The lecture will be presented by Amanda Griffin, Volunteer Coordinator, Alacare Home Health and Hospice.

Griffin will be discussing Alacare as well as volunteer opportunities with the organization. She will take questions after her presentation.

Alacare was founded in 1970 and is the oldest and largest family owned Medicare home health company. It currently has 3,800 patients and employs 750 Alabamians. Services provided by Alacare include home health care, hospice and palliative care, and home rehabilitation therapy.

This health lecture is free to the faculty, staff and students at NACC, and to the public.
