Become a Dental Aide in Just 12 Weeks

The dental profession needs trained dental aides. You can become a dental aide in just 12 weeks by registering for the Dental Aide course at Northeast Alabama Community College. Participants will gain real chair-side experiences through actual practice in Dr. Leslie Barrilleaux’s dental office at East Willow Street in Scottsboro.

The dental aide program at NACC is designed to guide students in a variety of skills and to provide career pathways into the dental profession. It includes classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students will leave the class with skills in place and ready to secure a job as a dental aide.

Liliana Pina Ramos, a graduate and recipient of the Dental Aide certificate, stated that Northeast prepared her well for her current position. “The best thing about attending NACC was that I graduated in a short amount of time, and now I have the right job for me.” She continued, “When you do what you really like on your job, you don’t even see it as a job. You see it as your favorite part of the day. NACC gave me the basis for my future.”

Classes begin August 21st and will meet on Fridays. Job placement and financial assistance are available.
