NACC Foundation To Host First Annual
Spring Fashion Show
The Northeast Alabama Community College
Foundation will host its First Annual Spring Fashion Show on
Thursday, March 26, in the NACC Tom Bevill Lyceum Lobby on
campus. A silent auction will begin at 11 am. Items for auction
include two footballs autographed by University of Alabama Head
Coach Nick Saban, dinner for two and tickets to a musical event
at Gorham’s Bluff, a 3-day vacation at a lake house on Smith
Lake, original art, and much more!
The luncheon will begin at 12 noon and will be catered by the
Veranda Café and Catering of Scottsboro. The fashion show will
begin at 12:30 pm. The show will feature beautiful spring
fashions from our local stores in Scottsboro, Fort Payne,
Rainsville, and Albertville.
“We’re very excited about the show and silent auction,” said
Susan Barron, Events Coordinator at Northeast. “It should be a
fun day! We’ll have some great food, see the latest fashions in
our area, and raise some much-needed money. This is a major
opportunity for the community to visit our campus and help
support the Foundation in their efforts.”
Proceeds from the fashion show will be used for scholarships to
benefit students in our local area.
Tickets are $20 per person and reservations should be made by
Monday, March 23rd. For tickets or for more information, contact
Nancy Griggs at
griggsn@nacc.edu, phone ext. 217, or Susan Barron at
