NACC Offers Self-Defense Tactics
Northeast Alabama Community College is now offering open
enrollment for self-defense strategies and self-defense basic
training. The two-hour strategies course teaches you how not to
become a victim but if you do how to survive. In this training
course you learn:
Escape Techniques
Personal Safety
Basic Weapon Defense & Disarms
Counter an Attack
Receive an Attack and Recovery
Learn to defend yourself and optimize your
chances of surviving a potentially deadly situation. Come let
2nd Degree Black Belt Instructor Robert Gibson share some common
sense advice for defending yourself and train you in some
practical moves that work. You will appreciate this course
whether you are in your teen or twilight years. This class is
geared toward families, social and church groups, or corporate
entities, and law enforcement. Must be age 12 to enroll.
Two dates to choose from:
Tuesday, September 15 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, September 17 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Cost is $25 (paid the day of training).
Location will be announced with registration.
We need a minimum number of participants enrolled by noon
Friday, September 11, 2009. Bring a partner and learn a new
