"Auditing" is taking a course without receiving a grade or credit. The transcript will list the course but will show "AU" in place of a grade, and 0 hours of credit. Auditing students are expected to complete as much of the assigned work as the instructor requires, including attendance.
HOW TO REGISTER TO AUDIT:
-
Register for the class. Complete the registration process.
-
Follow the Add/Change/Drop procedure online or though your advisor.
-
The computer will show the option of changing your status in your classes from credit to AUDIT. Select this option for each class you wish to audit.
The deadline is the last day of Late Registration as shown on the Academic Calendar.
Auditing a class costs the same as taking it for credit.
